I was in a bad mood in my last journal entry so I thought I should update with something that is a little closer to the truth in terms of what's been going on in my life the past couple of weeks, because it's actually been more weird than moan-worthy.

My closest friend was in an accident and miraculously is ok. I won't say much because he's on here and I don't wanna embarrass him, but he gave me the fright of my life and I just want to get on the first bus up to see him and give him a hug, but can't because of lack of funds and he's got stuff on for the next few weeks that he's had planned for ages. Which sucks, but there you go.

I now have a job! woohoo! clintons for xmas - means i actually get paid to listen to dean martin and bing crosby!hah! can you believe it? Brilliant! that'll take me through to the end of December and then need to find something to take me through to about april/may when it's warm enough to start painting again.

For 23 years I've been pretty much invisible, now suddenly, practically every time I leave the house, I get people staring at me and random strangers coming up to me and complimenting me - I went into primark about 3 weeks ago and bought a skirt, and then went in 2 days ago and one of the cashiers not only remembered me but said she'd been trying to do her hair like mine - then at an art meeting, a photographer pulled me aside and said he loved my 'look' said I had a good face and wants to use my face for an old hollywood themed shoot, and the other week I was an extra in Paloma Faith's music video for 'Do You Want The Truth or Something Beautiful'.


I feel cheated out of Autumn. Again. So here are some pictures that make me look forward to frostbitten winter mornings. Frost bitten winter mornings in England make me think of The Secret Garden.
